Brief History

I have been fortunate enough to have had an active career in the design business for the past 30+ years, starting as a Baker Furniture sales rep in the deep south. That was followed by becoming the National Sales Manager, first of Ward Bennett-Brickel, and then Jack Lenor Larsen, who taught me to love fabrics. Subsequently I moved through a series of executive positions, including being President or CEO of: Cowtan & Tout, Bergamo Fabrics, Donghia, Edward Ferrell Lewis Mittman (a two- year contract) and finally Dedar/Hermes Fabrics ( a three year contract). In the last two positions I was hired for a specific time to accomplish a specific set of tasks, which I did successfully.

However, the fact that I called on over 300 design firms nationally in my 3 years at Dedar/Hermes told me where my true interests lay- working directly with individual design firms. So, I decided to return to sales, and do my best for a group of manufacturers and textile editors and the design communities in Connecticut, Westchester, Dutchess & Putnam Counties in NY, and Long Island, NY.
